· Obray Ramsey was in the Sodom store (Amos and Little Betty). Store was always crowded. Granny there for a gallon of milk. He was picking his banjo in the store but as soon as Granny walked in he started playing little Margaret. I want to know that song Obray played. Thought he was saying that mom was his family.

· Learned it on the front porch of her house. Eyes wide open like she was telling a story.

· Berzilla, when mom was 12 or 13, said she was old enough to sing this one. Gave her a little slip of paper. The tune didn’t stick. Mary Sands is who she learned it from. Phillip Rhodes’ wife Jane play it for her. Same time as learned the tune to Young Hunting.
· The story is the best. Pray see what I’ve come to from the loving of thee. She dresses up like a man who eventually draws the short straw.

Granny and mother spent one summer on the Visiters in the park program. Went all over the parkway singing. Granny watched me while mom sang. at the end of the project, Granny taught mother a song. The performances shook the song loose.
